Hello , I hope this message finds you well. As we move into April, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, and what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving. 🔍 Local Priorities Our current focus areas include: Anti Social Behaviour being caused by motorbikes on The Greenway - We are aware of the issues on The Greenway and have spokent ot many residents over the last couple of weeks and have also liaised with the lcoal Councillor to look for opportunities to resolve the issues. Enforcement will form a part of this however the location itself ideally should be secured and I am asking for some adaptations to be made. I will be reaching out to relevant partners to ask for a site review and will update when I have any further information.Princess Alice shoplifting - Shoplifiting has decreased since some offenders have been arrested. All reports are reviewed and CBO (Criminal Behaviour Order) applications will be made for all offenders arrested. 🤝 Partnership Working We’ve been working closely with: Rob Pocock, Councillor to address issues at The Greenway and are hoping for support.Housing Officer to assist with warning letters being served to problematic tenants.These collaborations are helping us respond more effectively and holistically to community needs. 🎉 Upcoming Events Sweetfields Police Surgery, 11:00AM - 12:00PM, Thu 02 April 2026, 141 Sutton Road, Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield Police Surgery Sutton Rose Bistro, 11:00AM - 12:00PM, Wed 08 April 2026, Sutton Rose Bistro St Michaels Road TESCO Police Surgery, 11:00AM - 12:00PM, Thu 09 April 2026, Tesco Princess Alice Retail Park Sutton Coldfield We’d love to see you there—these events are a great way to connect and share ideas. 🗞️ Round-Up from the Vesey Team. Multiple cars seized that residents have reported to us causing obstructions/local issues.Traffic tickets being issued for inconsiderate parking.Criminal Behaviour Order applied for and granted for a prolific shoplifting offender.The Vesey team were involved in the apprehension of 4 x offenders for crimes who were riding on motorbikes.Reassurance visits conducted to particularly vulnerable victims of crime.Streetwatch walks have been conducted.
